Blaze joins London Stock Exchange Group’s ELITE

Blaze Manufacturing today opened trading on London’s financial market after joining the London Stock Exchange Group’s (LSEG) international business support and capital raising ecosystem, ELITE.

100 UK companies make up the 750-strong international ELITE community of companies, advisers and investors. Being part of ELITE supports ambitious companies to prepare and structure for the next stage of growth through the access to long term financing opportunities.

Established in 2006, Blaze Manufacturing Solutions is a family-run business providing technical safety and loss prevention solutions in the oil and gas, renewable energies, mining, commercial and industrial sectors. This involves everything from the front-end definition of concepts, detailed design, supply and installation, and the commissioning and maintaining of active fire extinguishing systems and fire alarm systems both in the UK and internationally.

Earlier this year, Blaze was named as one of the top 1000 UK Companies to Inspire by the London Stock Exchange.

Managing Director of Blaze Manufacturing Howard Johnson said, “It is an honour to be part of the ELITE programme and to have been recognised in the Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain.

“Despite some uncertain years following the downturn in oil and gas, we have continued to invest heavily in research and development to enable us to enter new markets which makes us more competitive than some of our European counterparts.

“Having the correct people in place is vital as we diversify, and we owe a huge amount to our dedicated team who play a major role in the success of the company.”

ELITE Chief Operating Officer Luca Peyrano said, “I am delighted to welcome the latest group of UK companies to ELITE. Innovative, inspiring and fast-growing businesses are essential for the British economy, driving growth, innovation and employment.

“We look forward to supporting 20 more UK businesses scale up and achieve their growth ambitions.”
