North-east firm Blaze Manufacturing Solutions has formed a Norwegian alliance it hopes will create a new supply channel and make its technology available to oil and gas clients across the North Sea.
The Laurencekirk company, which is among the exhibitors at this week’s Offshore Northern Seas 2016 event in Stavanger, Norway, is today announcing a tie- up with Kristiansand – based Vinje Inustri.
They will work together on funnelling Blaze’s technology, including its new Flex-Flo modular flexible piping system, into the Norwegian market.
Blaze managing director Howard Johnson, said: “Vinje’s in-depth experience in the hose and piping sector provides a perfect fit for Blaze.”
Flex-Flo is aimed at asset life extension and decommissioning projects, but also new build and existing oil and gas production, chemical processing, vessels, and drilling.
Blaze, which was launched in 2006 by Howard and Ann Johnson, specialises in fire safety protection, detection and loss prevention solutions for harsh and challenging environments.
